Well my first day of trying to get on track did not seem to work. I am a bit discouraged.
I burned over 2000 calories and kept my food calories to under 1500 but my nutrition was not that good. Some of it was ...some of it was not. I ate 59 grams of Protein, 186 grams of Carbs, Cholestral was 86 mg...fiber was up 16 grams, Calcium was not good at 487 mg, sodium was so-so with 1494 gms but the bad part was Fat....52 grams of fat. Way too much !
On the bright side.....I got up and did a lower body exercise program for 30 minutes this morning. Perhaps that will help with the eating today. My computer was putt-putting along for a while so I am running out of time to plug into the body bugg program ...but will later.

ReplyDeleteDon't call it unsuccessful! Unsuccessful would be if you reported, "I ate an entire chocolate cake by myself, followed by a bag of cheetos, three king sized candy bars, all washed down with a 2L bottle of coke. And I burned 1200 calories total today." Okay, so your fat content was a little high. So what? The day isn't shot. We all have areas here or there on a given day that are not where we want them to be. It's not about food perfection. Use it as nutrition guidelines and encouragement not eat-this-way-or-you-will-die Nazi mentality. You are being so very harsh with yourself. Celebrate the little good things you are doing. If you don't, you will hate this journey with all your being and not want to do it. It won't inspire you or others because you will loathe every last bit of it when you don't measure up to the perfect standard you have set for yourself. This journey is a long one, so you might as well enjoy it. Your mind set is well over half the battle. When you can enjoy the process and see the good over the bad (and yes, you will have bad days), you can relax and let the bad run off and leave it behind because you know that it's gonna be okay and that you'll have more victories over losses! Each day will have some struggles - you'll win some and you'll lose some. So stop beating yourself up over every perceived loss! Focusing on the negative will hurt your efforts more than anything else! You can do this Mom! You have people behind you who seriously believe in you and want more than anything your happiness. Okay, sermon over. :)
